Half Full. Half Empty.
Hello Subscriber❤️
How's it been with you since I last showed up in your inbox? Today, I want to encourage you to find sometime to rest this weekend. Shut down, and if anyone protests about that, report them to me and I will sue them for violating your right to rest and recuperation. Yes! I can do that now since I am officially a lawyer!😂🤭
Today, I will be sharing with you a winning philosophy that can help you preserve a healthy perspective at all times.
There are various ways of classifying people for different purposes. For example, good and bad, mean and nice, pessimists and optimists, and the list goes on. When handed a half glass of water, a person can either consider it to be half full or half empty and so, added to the list above, there are two kinds of people, the half full and half empty kind of people.
The half full lady or guy will view life from the standpoint of what they have or the resources at their disposal. While, the half empty lady or guy will view life from the standpoint of what's missing and what they lack. For example an unemployed half full guy will consider how inspite of being out of job he has other resources like time he can leverage on to learn a skill or get a certification that will prepare him for his next role. While, an unemployed half empty lady will fail to consider any of these advantages, and remain fixated on all the negatives.
We have a choice to either be half full or half empty kind of humans. From where I stand, it pays more to be in the first category. So, I now recommend to you, this philosophy as a way of retaining a healthy mind in all seasons.
I will like to close with two quotes and a bible verse today:
First Quote
You can go to hell without moving an inch, just focus on what you lack. You can taste heaven without leaving earth, rejoice in what you have- James Clear
Second Quote
Leaders (and people too) who want to succeed maximize every asset and resource they have for their benefit. - Culled from John C. Maxwell, Ultimate Leadership.
Bible Verse
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! -Philippians 4:4 NKJV
I am happy you took sometime out of your schedule whatever that may look like, to read today's love letter. Thank you.
I look forward to next week Friday already. See you then!❤️
With utmost love and care,
Chukwunazaoku.
